What We Do
HACKINGLaugharne is ideal for gentle hacking with plenty off road routes and stunning views. We also box to nearby forestry, which offers the opportunity for fast canters . Brechfa Forest, Colby Gardens, and Pembrey Country Park are some of the venues where we take our riders for picnic rides. Some routes offer small jumps but this is entirely optional. Most of our guests remember their beach rides, especially Pendine beach with seven miles of sand.
What We Do
LESSONSMost people opt to have one or more lessons in flatwork or jumping with quality instructors who are sympathetic and make you feel that you have really achieved and improved. Lessons are entirely optional but are included in the package if you wish to participate.
We have a outdoor 20 x 40 metre manège and a good selection of coloured jumps.
What We Do
GETTING INVOLVED.You can do as much or as little as you wish but a lot of fun is generated by a hands on approach. We encourage our riders to groom, tack up, muck out, fill hay nets, clean tack and care for the horses.
What We Do
WHAT ELSE?Hill's Farm Stables also offers casual riding on an hourly basis taking small groups of novice or experienced riders. We have a proven record for breaking and schooling at very reasonable rates,and take horses on livery; either full, grass or DIY. We offer B&B and are prepared to take family dogs if they can follow the same regime as our three dogs. Own horses are also welcome at no extra cost.
